Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it’s EODF time for the unknowndieter.
For those of you who have no idea what EODF is and are too lazy to Google it, I’ll tell you. But first, before you think I am nuts, know that I am very motivated to lose weight. AND…I am also very motivated to remain anonymous. AND…I am very motivated to keep my weight-loss measurement free. (Yes, I feel the irony. Knowing I weigh 300 pounds is a measured fact which woke me up. But I didn’t do the measuring. I’m a victim?!?!) So, after all my research, I have found a plan which I am totally confident will work. And it will perhaps even extend my life, depending on which research you read.
So what does EODF stand for? Every Other Day Fasting.
For the foreseeable future, I will be eating from 6pm to 6pm, then fasting from that 6pm meal to the next 6pm meal. I’ll drink lots of water inbetween. This is as simple a plan as I can devise without having to measure, weigh, count, and obsess.
Wish me luck.
Really.
I’m five days, and it is a breeze!!

How is it going so far? I started two weeks ago just as a fluke and I like it so far. Are you still engaged in the process? Matt
Yep. Although see today’s post. I found I could out eat the EODF caloric restrictions. So I had to adjust what I ate on the eating periods.
Check out today’s post.
When you talk about fasting every other day, what does the fasting consist of:
water only?
juice fast?
other?
Thanks
TD
I’m referring to drinking just water on the off days. If I get even light juice in a drink, it tends to send hunger pangs pouncing upon my feeble will.
So I keep it to water…
