Today I stepped on the scale at 292. I also measured myself. Chest 50, Belly 49, Wait 45, Hips 47.
Mood?
Overwhelmed, with a side of quiet resolve. I’d like to end up at 8-9% bodyfat. For me that is about 190lbs.
They say if you break any project down into little pieces it becomes manageable. Like eating an elephant one bite at a time. But sitting there with my fork and my elephant is daunting. (Notice even in my analogies I’m food centric!)
This picture says it all. Where does one start? At the tusks? The tail? Or go for the gut?
Perhaps I’ll start at the toes. A metaphoric meal must begin with locomotion. The feet it is. Tomorrow I’ll start walking. Slow. Like an elephant. I’ll figure out nutrition later. Time to get moving.
